XL Ingredients Ltd is the latest company to be awarded FAMI-QS certification. Based in Rugeley, Staffordshire, XL trades feed grade vitamins in the UK and EU. The company is partnered with XL Ingredients Inc of Winnipeg who distribute specialty feed ingredients in North America. Making the announcement, XL’s Managing Director, Robert Rae, said, “The FAMI-QS standard is recognised globally and we are delighted to have achieved certification. We would like to thank Apheya Animal Nutrition for helping us get to the standard.”
The FAMI-QS quality system is used by over 1,300 specialty feed ingredient and premix businesses worldwide, and is mutually recognised by UFAS and Femas.
